If you're the person in the office that has been given the responsibility of planning the BIG HOLIDAY PARTY for your company and you're considering hiring a professional DJ, you may want to begin making your calls soon to see who's available. In the past week alone we've received several calls (it's July by the way) for corporate holiday parties for the Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Fond du Lac areas. Be sure to ask your DJ if they can offer suggestions on how to "spice up" your event. Maybe play a round of "Scavenger Hunt Musical Chairs", or something as simple as "Office Trivia" for a chance at winning prizes. Whatever you come up with begin planning early... it always makes for a better event.

Wow. What a great time I had performing at a costume party this past weekend in Elkhart Lake. The event was for a 40th anniversary party and my responsibilities on top of providing music and sound system was to be the official "Herald" of the event. That's right, I was given the honor of introducing the court to the King and Queen. It was a blast! We provided regal music, complete with trumpets and horns along with a variety of ethnic music of various cultures later in the evening. Finally we capped the celebration off with music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today. And yes, I finally had a chance to wear a kilt. |

Wedding season is upon us. If you've already selected your Sheboygan area DJ make sure he/she plans to meet with you at least a couple times before the wedding to make sure your big day goes off without a hitch. Be sure you've dicussed every detail down to the final song you want played for the evening. This will help give you peace of mind. Your DJ should be able to provide you with a planner that will help guide you through the process. |

Get your team together and sign up for the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Sheboygan August 7-8. This year's tournament will again be held down on the shores of Lake Michigan. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County. Boys and Girls Club organizers have all sorts of fun family activities planned as well when your child is not on the court. No need to bring food and drink as there will be a large variety of concessions available. A slam dunk contest is also planned for Saturday evening. |

I was at "The Waters" in Oshkosh, Wisconsin last Saturday. What a great place for a wedding AND a wedding reception. The staff was right on top of things. It offers a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Winnebago, an inviting dance floor and a very cool retro horseshoe shaped bar. If you're looking for a classy venue for your reception definitely consider "The Waters" as an option. |
