Wedding season is upon us. Get your team together and sign up for the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Sheboygan August 7-8. This year's tournament will again be held down on the shores of Lake Michigan. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County. Boys and Girls Club organizers have all sorts of fun family activities planned as well when your child is not on the court. No need to bring food and drink as there will be a large variety of concessions available. A slam dunk contest is also planned for Saturday evening. |

I was at "The Waters" in Oshkosh, Wisconsin last Saturday. What a great place for a wedding AND a wedding reception. The staff was right on top of things. It offers a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Winnebago, an inviting dance floor and a very cool retro horseshoe shaped bar. If you're looking for a classy venue for your reception definitely consider "The Waters" as an option. |

This Thursday we'll be at the Brown Bottle in Plymouth, Wisconsin for "Brown Bottle Trivia Night." If you haven't had a chance to check out the Brown Bottle please do so. On Thursday, January 21st we were a part of Midwest Communications Bridal Faire at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. Wow! What a great show. We are already planning to be a part of the event next year. Attendance was high, vendors were many, and the bridal fashion show put on by Edith's Bridal out of Fond du Lac was spectacular. At the end of the evening Fox World Travel from Sheboygan gave away a $4,000 gourmet inclusive honeymoon vacation to Mexico to one LUCKY bride and groom. Rumor has it Midwest Communications is planning next year's Bridal Faire on the third Thursday of January 2011. MARK YOUR CALENDAR! |
